MassPay started with an idea to provide payroll and insurance services to small companies who needed personal attention. This became a reality in August 2004, with two people working in the attic of a house in Lowell, Massachusetts (shown above).
Over the past decade, MassPay has developed a reputation for integrity and personal service to clients on the North Shore, as well as those within Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and now, across the country.
As the company grew in revenue and employees, MassPay had to expand office space four times over a ten year span.
On March 1, 2015, MassPay moved to new headquarters at 500 Cummings Center in Beverly, Massachusetts, doubling its space in order to support growth in business and staff.

In February 2016, the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce named us “Large Employer of the Year” for our record of longevity, stability & success that demonstrates community consciousness with civic/community involvement. MassPay is a company with a social conscience. One of our core beliefs is that we have a responsibility to serve the communities in which we live and work. We support many neighborhood non-profit organizations that are doing great things to support our society.
Each and every MassPay team member has been touched by cancer in some way, so our team created our own organized movement, Fed Up With Cancer with the purpose of saving lives in the fight against cancer.
Through fundraising events like the annual Cancer Walk, Trivia Night, Virtual Golf Tournament and other events, MassPay has raised more than $350,000 to help The North Shore Cancer Center educate and serve cancer patients on the North Shore.
Each December, we provide more than 90 families and elderly with holiday meals. We have hand delivered over 300 holiday meals during the past four years.
MassPay also runs a clothing & food drive to support Family Promise of the North Shore in Beverly. We delivered donated toys, food and household items to brighten the Christmas of many families.
Fighting Cancer, providing holiday meals, and running an annual food & toy drive are just some of the many community support activities that MassPay team members are actively engaged with.
